peas with honey’s online creative writing workshops use theme based prompts to ignite the imagination and unique voice we each have, while gently encouraging the exploration of different aspects of writing craft.
The classes are deliberately small - with a maximum of 8 writers - providing a safe, supportive community where criticism and judgement are excluded.
“‘People think imagination is just making things up…
Imagination is seeing things properly, real things…’”

Sunday Writes
What are they?
Two-hour monthly writing workshops held on Sunday’s and hosted live via Zoom.
Facilitated by Bibi, a certified workshop leader in the Amherst Writers and Artists Method.
Who are they for?
Open to anyone (18 and over) who wants to write - new, returning and regular writers - you’re all welcome.
What will you do?
Each workshop consists of timed guided prompts to surprise, delight and perhaps challenge you. They are invitations not assignments - merely stepping stones to get you started.
After each prompt writers are invited to read what they’ve written aloud if they choose, asked to listen to one another with respect, and to offer thoughtful feedback inspiring each other.
Why join a workshop?
We are all storytellers. We tell stories everyday even if we don’t realises it.
Creative writing is not only about the writing, it’s also about self care, taking time for you. It allows us to problem solve, to boost our self-confidence, to take what’s in our heads and get it down on paper.
It’s also about community. Writing is a solitary activity but when we share our words we experience first hand how they can affect others, create understanding, and help make better sense of the world around us.
